About Jen (She/ Her)
After my first yoga class I felt I had found something special, a place where I belonged and where I could move my body with attention in ways that helped me feel better.
During 2020 my personal practice deepened as I made time each day to practise and discovered just how much yoga could support me in difficult times.
I have mostly practiced Iyengar or Hatha yoga styles, with some somatic practices as well.
I completed my 200 hour training with Barefoot Body Training in Cambridge in December 2023 and I am a certified RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. I have been teaching yoga in Foxton since January 2024.
Additional training:
Restorative Yoga Teacher Training 30Hours (Barefoot Body Training, Cambridge UK, July 2024)

Frequently Asked Questions
When are classes?
Most Wednesdays at 6.15-7.30pm and 8.00-9.15pm
Do I need to bring anything?
Please bring a mat. If you currently don’t have a mat, please let me know when booking as I have a limited number of spares.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that doesn’t restrict movement. Layers are good so that you can adjust depending on the temperature of the room and your activity level.
I am new to yoga-can I attend?
Everyone is welcome regardless of their prior experience. Full guidance is given. It is however advisable to check with your doctor before starting any new program of movement, particularly if you have any medical conditions.
Do I have to be flexible?
You don't need to be flexible to practice yoga. I give students options to adapt shapes to suit their bodies.
Can I try a class for free to see if I like it?
Yes, please add "Free Trial" when booking or contact me to arrange this.
